Choose "Installs" from the Settings Page
Head over to INSTALLS right from your settings page.
Name
We have pre-loaded all of the default Install settings for you here. You can see there are a lot. We have gone ahead and toggled them all on for you to start. But you will want to sort through them and be sure to toglle off any you don't plan to offer. Notice their are separate toggles for offering the install on either the platform and/or the website.
First, notice that clicking the arrow, the drop-down displays all of the categories the install will apply to.
This breaks it down to sub and even detail category so you can be very specific in what products the install will be offered and you have complete control.
Before we get to sorting, notice the cost is listed on the main page. It is editable with the edit pencil, just like everything else will be.
Sorting
OK, let's get to sorting these down to make it a little simpler.
Use the filters up top to locate the installs you know you will not offer. You can narrow them down by starting with a category.
Then, choose the sub-category.
Lastly, your detail category.
Notice that after you've selected filters, you can also narrow it further by entering your own parameters in the search box. See here. Now, we're looking at only 30-inch Free-standing ranges.
You can also begin your search straight from the search field of course, notice how here washer was a pretty loose search and therefore resulted in a mixed bag of options without any additional filters.
However, you can always select a filter to get more specific results after searching this way.
Once you locate an install you are keeping, click that edit pencil to see all of the details up close and personal
Name
This is the name of your install, it will be displayed this way for your salespeople to choose from the system or your customers directly from the website so make sure it is listed the way you want.
Description
This is the full install description, it defines everything the install will entail. This is not the place to hold back on details. Be clear and upfront about exactly what is going to happen.
Price
Put a Price on it!
Brands
The default will be for each install to apply to ALL brands. This is where you can narrow down certain installs to only apply to specific brands if you like.
Categories
Now we get down to exactly which categories you want this install displayed for. Remember, if an appliance does not fit into one of your selections here, it will not be an option to add the install. So make sure you cover all of your categories.
Add as many categories that you need to get it all lined out properly.
You'll be kicking yourself if you forget to hit save on this one!
Create a New Install

Export Your Installs
In case you have the need, you can export your full install list right here. You will see this same export button around the platform. It gives you the ability to export as pdf, csv, or excel typically.
Archive
As usual, we give you the option to archive any installs.
And those archived installs live here, of course.
