Payments Settings

Easily manage and customize your store’s payment options

Updated this week

The Payment Settings page in Appliance.io allows you to configure all the payment methods available at your POS. From enabling AIO Pay to managing terminals and setting payment limits, this feature gives you complete control over how customers can pay — ensuring a seamless checkout experience every time.

📍 Accessing Payment Settings

To get started, open the sidebar and click Settings.
In the Basic Settings section, select Payments.

💳 AIO Pay

Here, you’ll find the AIO Pay toggle. Switch it to Yes to activate AIO Pay for your store.
If you don’t see AIO Pay listed, you’ll need to sign up first.

At the top right of the page, you’ll see two key options:

  • Manage AIO Pay – Revisit or adjust your payment management settings.

  • Terminal Settings – Add, edit, or delete your store’s payment terminals.

Managing Terminals

Click Terminal Settings to open the terminal management page.
Here’s where you can organize and maintain all your payment terminals.

Use the search bar or location filter to find a terminal quickly.
Click Reset Filter to clear your search.

Adding a New Terminal

When you’re ready to add a new terminal, click Add New Terminal in the top-right corner. Before you begin, make sure you’ve ordered your terminal from AIO. Once your terminal arrives, follow these steps to get it connected and ready to use:

  1. Connect your terminal to Wi-Fi.

  2. On the terminal, select Onboarding.

  3. Choose “Appliance_Balance” as the merchant.

  4. Wait for about 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete the activation process.

  5. Once the onboarding is finished, go back to AIO Settings in Appliance.io and register your terminal using the Serial Number provided.

After registration, return to the Terminal Settings page to complete the setup:

  • Enter the Location, Terminal Name, Model, and Serial Number (found on the back of the terminal).

  • Click Save when done.

Your new terminal will appear in the list alongside others.
To make changes, click the pencil icon, or use the trash icon to delete a terminal.

AIO Pay Payment Types

Back on the Payment Settings page, you can enable specific Payment Types under AIO Pay — including:

  • Credit Cards

  • Affirm

  • Klarna

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

To set maximum payment amounts for each type, click the pencil icon on the right to edit the limit.

💠 BlockChyp

If you’ve previously activated BlockChyp, you’ll still see it listed here.
However, once it’s turned off, it won’t be available again — and new users won’t have access to it.

💵 Financing

You can also enable Financing through trusted partners like:

  • Synchrony

  • Wells Fargo

  • Acima

  • Snap

These integrations allow customers to finance their purchases easily at checkout.

🧾 Manual Entry

For offline or manual payments, enable Manual Entry.
This includes traditional options like:

  • Credit Card

  • Check

  • Cash

  • Bank Transfer

  • Write-Off

  • Other

These methods are perfect for stores that handle both digital and in-person transactions.

💳 Customer Credit

Customer Credit functions like a built-in wallet within Appliance.io, allowing your customers to store and use credits directly from their accounts.

🏦 Credit Line
