We’ve improved the checkout experience to make sure customers can review the relevant Terms & Conditions before signing and completing their payment.
Previously, customers were asked to sign before completing payment without seeing the Terms & Conditions first. This made it difficult to clearly understand what they were agreeing to.
With this update, the applicable Terms & Conditions are now displayed directly in the checkout flow before the signature step. Customers can review the agreement first, then sign and proceed to payment.
How it works
When a customer reaches the signature step during checkout, the system will automatically display the appropriate Terms & Conditions based on the products in the cart.
If a product has Special Terms (for example, based on its condition such as Demo or Floor Model), those will be shown instead of the General Terms.
When multiple products are included in the same order:
If at least one product has Special Terms, those Terms will take priority over General Terms
If multiple products have different Special Terms, all relevant Terms will be displayed
If the same Terms apply to multiple items, they will only be shown once
Each set of Terms applies only to its respective product or brand, even when multiple items are purchased in a single order.
Why this matters
This update helps ensure that customers:
Can review what they are agreeing to before signing
See the most relevant Terms based on their purchase
Have a clearer and more transparent checkout experience
By showing the Terms earlier in the flow, it helps reduce confusion and prevents misunderstandings after the order is placed.
Notes:
There is currently no defined limit to how many Terms & Conditions can be displayed during checkout. However, duplicate documents will not be shown.
All signed Terms & Conditions are saved with the order and can be accessed later when needed.
