The Customer Portal in Appliance.io is built to make the post-sale experience effortless. It gives customers direct access to their order details without needing a login or order number. From making payments to scheduling and tracking deliveries, the Customer Portal simplifies every step — providing a smooth, modern experience that keeps customers informed and satisfied.
📍 Accessing the Customer Portal
To start, open the Quote page in Appliance.io.
Under the Salesperson section, you’ll find a small area for the Customer Portal.
Here, you can choose the payment option that best fits your customer:
Full Payment – For paying the total balance upfront.
50% Down – For partial payment before fulfillment.
Custom Amount – For flexible or negotiated payment terms.
Once selected, click Send Invoice to begin the process.
You’ll see a pop-up window where you can fill in details like:
Recipient Email
CC (optional)
Subject Line
Message Content
Before sending, you can customize what’s included in the email:
Send without model number
Send without pay link
Send without fulfillment & protection plan
When everything looks good, click Send.
The email is sent directly to the customer — and you can also share the Customer Portal link with them for quick access.
🧾 Step 1: Payment
Once customers open the Customer Portal, they’ll start at the Payment step.
There are four secure payment methods to choose from:
Apple Pay
Credit Card
Affirm
Klarna
Customers can pay instantly through their preferred method. After payment is confirmed, the portal automatically moves them to the next step — no manual updates needed.
📅 Step 2: Delivery Scheduling
After payment, the portal transitions to Delivery Scheduling.
Here, customers can choose their preferred delivery date from the available schedule.
Once confirmed, that delivery date becomes final — ensuring your logistics team can plan efficiently.
When done, customers just click Continue to move forward.
🚚 Step 3: Delivery Tracking
Once the order is routed, the Customer Portal automatically advances to the Delivery Tracking step.
Here, customers can view:
Real-time delivery tracking
Estimated Arrival Time
Driver Information
Salesperson Contact
Order and Product Details
Everything updates automatically, giving customers full visibility into their delivery — without the need to call for updates.

When the delivery is successfully completed, customers will see an Order Confirmation page showing that their order is complete.
It’s a clean, satisfying finish that reassures customers their experience is handled from start to finish.
