The Product Catalog in Appliance.io helps you manage every aspect of your inventory setup. From activating brands to defining product conditions, you can keep your catalog clean, consistent, and easy to navigate — ensuring your online store stays perfectly organized.
📍 Accessing Product Catalog
To get started, head to your Settings page and find the Product Catalog section.
Here, you’ll see three main configuration areas:
Brands
Categories
Conditions
Each tabs gives you control over what appears in your store’s inventory — with simple toggles, editing tools, and customization options.
🏷️ Brands
Your brands define the identity of your product lineup.
Activate Your Brands
Use the toggle switch next to each brand name to turn it on or off. Active brands automatically move to the top of your list for easy access and visibility.
Edit Brand Names
Click the edit pencil icon to rename any brand.
Add a Custom Brand
If a brand isn’t listed, click Add Custom Brand to create one. Give it a name — for example, small accessory brands or items like range cords that aren’t serialized — and you’re good to go.
Archive a Brand
Click the archive icon to hide brands you no longer carry.
💡 Tip: You can expand the number of items shown on the page to speed up your workflow.
🗂️ Categories
Categories help organize your products by appliance type and sub-levels.
View the Category Map
Your Category Map shows how all categories are structured in the system — preloaded for convenience and easy to reference.
Add a Custom Category
Need something unique? Click Add Custom Category to include specialized products such as dryer ducts, or other miscellaneous items. You can name and organize your new category however you like.
⚙️ Conditions
Conditions define the physical state of your appliances and how they appear to customers.
Understanding Conditions
You can set product conditions such as:
New – Default for most items.
Floor Model – Perfect for display units or showroom items.
Used / Open Box – For secondhand or demo units.
Digital Tags for Floor Models
If you’d like to use Digital Tags for your floor models, simply toggle the feature on.
Edit or Delete Conditions
Click the edit pencil to update condition names or descriptions. To remove one, use the delete icon — just remember, at least one condition must remain active.

From brands and categories to conditions, you’ve organized your inventory for smoother product management and faster website setup. Appliance.io keeps it simple — so you can focus on selling, not sorting.
