We’ve improved the Customer Portal experience to make completing orders more predictable and easier for customers.
With this update, customers can only proceed to sign Terms & Conditions (T&C) once all order items have the required fulfillment details configured. Once signing is completed, customers are automatically guided into payment—creating one continuous flow instead of separate disconnected steps.
This update helps reduce confusion, prevents incomplete orders from progressing too early, and creates a smoother checkout experience.
Fulfillment is now required before T&C signing
Previously, customers could successfully sign Terms & Conditions even when some items in the order were not fully prepared for fulfillment.
Although the signing was completed successfully, customers later became blocked from payment and required manual assistance to continue.
Now, before customers can access T&C signing, the system validates that fulfillment has been configured across the order.
If fulfillment requirements are complete:
Customers can access the Customer Portal normally
Customers can review and sign Terms & Conditions
Customers continue directly to payment
If fulfillment requirements are incomplete:
Customer Portal access for signing is unavailable
Payment links cannot be sent
Customers receive a clear message explaining what needs to be resolved
Displayed message:
Set fulfillment for all items to enable portal access
This helps ensure customers only move forward when the order is ready.
Payment links are protected from incomplete orders
To prevent customers from entering unfinished order flows:
Send Email with Paylink becomes unavailable while fulfillment is incomplete
The action changes to Send Invoice without Paylink
Hover information explains why portal access is unavailable
This prevents customers from receiving payment access before order preparation is complete.
Signing now flows directly into payment
Previously, signing Terms & Conditions and completing payment were treated as separate actions.
Customers often finished signing but were left without a clear next step, requiring follow-up from Sales.
With this update:
Customer opens Customer Portal
Reviews Terms & Conditions
Signs agreement
Automatically continues into payment
No additional navigation is required.
A new Customer Portal stepper has also been introduced to make progress easier to understand.
Improved Terms & Conditions experience
The Terms & Conditions experience has been updated to improve readability and reduce confusion.
Updates include:
General T&C displayed in a cleaner, scrollable layout
Brand-specific T&C shown in an improved format
Product count indicators added to clarify which products each T&C applies to
Duplicate T&C documents automatically removed
If the same T&C applies across multiple products or conditions, it will only appear once.
Consistent behavior across Customer Portal and Website
The updated T&C experience is now aligned across both the Customer Portal and the Website.
Customers will experience:
The same signing flow
The same T&C presentation logic
Consistent behavior across desktop and mobile experiences
This creates a more predictable experience regardless of where customers complete their order.
Notes:
This feature can be enabled or disabled through POS configuration.
Editing fulfillment details is not available inside the Customer Portal.
Partial or conditional signing flows are not included in this release.
If new items requiring T&C are added after signing, only T&C documents that still require acknowledgment will appear.
