The Purchase Orders page in Appliance.io is designed to help you efficiently order products from manufacturers, track pending requests, and receive inventory with accuracy. From handling request queues to reviewing complete order history, this tool ensures smooth operations, proper stock levels, and reliable inventory control for your business.
📍 Accessing the Purchase Orders Page
To get started, open the sidebar and click Purchase Order.
At the top of the page, you’ll see three main tabs that organize your workflow:
Requested
Open
Purchase Order History
Each tab helps you manage different stages of your purchasing process — from initial requests to completed orders.
You’ll also notice several key action buttons throughout the page:
Receive Inventory – Quickly scan in arriving items, match them to a PO, and instantly update your stock levels.
Add Request – Create a new purchase request for any item not already listed.
Export – Download customized reports in CSV or Excel format.
Reset Filters – Clear all applied filters with a single click.
🗂️ Requested Tab
The Requested tab is the starting point for all purchase order requests — items listed here haven’t been ordered yet.
Smart Filters for Easy Sorting
You can refine your list using multiple filters, including:
Search Bar
Date Added
Location
Condition
Brand
Categories
Jobs
Needed By
The Needed By filter defaults to Immediate Requests, so you can prioritize what’s urgent. Switch to Deferred Requests or All at any time.
When choosing Deferred or All, the page unlocks an additional Date Needed By filter for deeper filtering.
Bulk Actions & Editing
You can select multiple requests using the checkboxes on the left to:
Add them to a Purchase Order in bulk
Update Requested Date for several items at once
These tools make it easy to manage large volumes of requests quickly.
📦 Open Tab
The Open tab shows all purchase orders that have been placed and are awaiting arrival.
Once items are scanned using the Receive Inventory feature, they automatically disappear from this list — keeping everything clean and up to date.
You can continue using the left-side checkboxes here as well to Edit or Delete multiple entries at once.
📜 Purchase Order History
The Purchase Order History tab provides a complete record of every purchase order you’ve created.
To find what you need, use the Search Everything filter and select a Location from the dropdown list.
This makes reviewing past orders quick and organized.
