OK, you've got customers flooding your doors! - You're selling stock! - making all the monies and getting ready to send out your first delivery -

And you catch your delivery guy trying to locate that first stop on his old school street guide -

Welp, tell him no more! We are using the drivers app today my friend!

App Link Sent to Driver

After a route has been set in the platform, and you save, all of the drivers will automatically be sent an email laying out their stops -

Email Recieved

Just like this!

The email lists out each order number, models, customer names, phone numbers and delivery addresses in a simple table.

Go to Delivery Route

but thats just for fun, because your drivers will simply click the button, "Go to Delivery Route"!

Access App from the Store

Pro Tip! You can also access the drivers app view in real time by clicking the copy driver link button right from the routing page,

Pro Tip!

and pasting it into your browser bar. Super cool.

Pro Tip!

Ok- back to that email your driver just got. So when he clicks this button,

Drivers App- Opened

It takes him right to the drivers app! And before you ask - No, you do not need to download an app, its all browser based!

Todays Activities

At the top, it lists out the essential details he will need for the day, right under Today's Activity where it shows the total stops, total appliances, estimated distance he will travel and the estimated time it will all take!

Install Summary

Next is his install summary, shows what he will be installing that day and how many.

Assigned Truck

Below that, he sees what truck he's assigned to for the day.

Routed Map of Stops

Scrolling down - he sees his route mapped out with all of the stops labeled in order for him.

Next, each stop tile is displayed just like it was on the routing page.

Stop Tiles Listed

You can see his first stop here is Kirstie Alleys place, looks like is a local delivery and install for that new fridge, should take him about 44 minutes - and he's headed to Ries Road.

View More Details - Stop

Now if we wanted some more info about the stop, he can always select the view stop details button here -

Looks like it'll be about 2 miles to get there, he can also see who made the sale, any delivery notes, he can add a serial number here if he likes, it specifies all of the fullfilment options too - looks like she wants a haulaway also!

And back to the dashboard we go.

Start the Route

Alright, let's get this party started and start the route!

Missed Scanning an Item

Oops looks like all the items didn't get scanned out yet. Always nice to have reminders before you take off!

A quick visit to the deliveries page to find the culprit,

there she is, hiding out at the bottom there -

alrighty, got her scanned in - crisis diverted and all good to go!

Install Parts Reminder

Ok so anytime there is an install scheduled on the route, the driver will get a helpful reminder to gather all of the install parts before he indicates that he is leaving the warehouse.

I'm on my way

Once he confirms he has all the parts, he can let his first stop know he is on the way by clicking the blue button here!

Notification Setting

Incase your wondering, this message is sent because the your delivery is on the way notification is toggled on in settings, under customer notifications.

Order View

Meanwhile, back at the store - anyone looking at Kirsties order will see that her delivery is on the way as well -the blue truck in motion indicates progress and they can even see which truck is coming and her stop number!

Navigation

Now, after your driver lets the customer know he is on his way, he will click the navigation button,

and Google maps will guide him straight to his first stop!

Start Delivery

Once he arrives at Kirstie's house, he will click the start delivery button here -

Delivery in Progress

When it reflects in Progress,

Dashboard View

It can also be seen right from the main dashboard of the platform, see how it reflects in progress and even gives the ETA?

Details

Notice he still has access to the delivery notes, the serial number - so he can be sure he grabs the right item from his truck and all of the fullfillment info.

Adding Photos

and now the fun part, when there is an install - your driver can add pre and post installation pics. All he has to do is click on one of the circles with a plus sign and the camera on his phone will automatically open and save once the photo is taken. Easy peasey!

Editing Photos

Once the photos are added, he has the option to remove them or add as many as he needs too.

Add Notes & Get Signature

Just below the photos, the driver can make notes and also hand his phone to the customer so she can sign for the delivery.

Next Stop

and now its time to head to his next stop!

Order View

Look! The fridge shows it has been delivered already on the order!

Home Visit

Booyah - Time to let Mya know he's on his way! but look, this one's a little different, it's a home visit. Looks like he's coming not to delivery anything, but to measure a space ahead of time to make sure the new appliance will fit. Such a good idea for custom orders or odd situations.

Survey Form

After he starts the delivery, he will enter the survey here -

At the top of the survey form, he has the description of what exactly he is there to do, entered by the sales person.

43.

A diagram of the appliance, in this case - a fridge, with the dimensions indicated by letters,

and spaces below to mark those dimensions, along with other pertinent questions related to the specific appliance that the customer plans to put there.

and of course there's a place to upload pictures and add driver notes.

Once the survey shows a completed status, he can go back to survey at the top there, and head to the next stop!

Reschedules

Now, let's say that Ted doesn't answer the door - Welp, the driver needs to report why he was unable to make the delivery right? - So he just selects reschedule from the bottom of the stop details, he can choose from customer not home,

site not ready,

customer requested reschedule,

refused due to damage,

reschedule due to size issue,

or just plain skip stop - incase the delivery didn't happen because the driver couldn't get to it that day for some reason.

Choosing any of these options will open a menu similiar to this one, where notes and information regarding the situation can be recorded easily.

Notify the Customer

Notice the toggle to notify the customer, this is especially important if they were not home at the time of the attempted delivery.

Order View

Check out Teds order now, The red truck and x indicates the stop could not be completed and the delivery notes that the driver made display on the order in the notes section, along with the model number affected. Additionally, the salesperson was notified so they can follow up with their customer to reschedule.

Order Report- Reschedules

Another really awesome connecting feature is notice on the order report - if you select open reschedules, it displays all orders that need to be rescheduled until a new delivery date is chosen. Nice, huh?

Report Damage

Ok - last option to discuss, say your driver has a little mishap and does damage to the customers property, like scuffs a floor or puts a hole in a wall. Never! - Right? All good - he will report it on the spot right here.

Just like everywhere else, he will notate what needs to be recorded in an orderly fashion, take the pics and submit the damage report.

Salesperson Notified

The sales person will be notified of the incident,

Order View

when anyone accesses the order, a pop up with display indicating the open damage report, with the option to go straight to it -

And here it is listed on the damage allowance report, where it can be resolved in house.

Back to Warehouse

After all of the stops have been completed, the driver will navigate back to the warehouse,

Finish Route

where he will officially finish his route!

and THIS my friends, is a final decision. Changes cannot be made through the drivers app after a route has been completed. They will require a manager to change directly on the order.

Summary of the Day

And finally! - A summary is displayed of the full days activities as you scroll through each and every stop to view each status.

That's it! You are now a drivers app pro! Don't forget to send your driver home for some much deserved downtime... If you want to review the damage waiver report, click up next! Up Next: Damage Waiver Report
