You can watch this video or read the article below. Your choice!
Hey there! In this video, we’re diving into one of the most important tools in your pricing workflow — Product Pricing. This is where you control how your prices are calculated, how your competitors influence those prices, and how to keep everything compliant with brand rules. So let’s take a tour and get you comfortable with all the features inside this page.
Accessing the Product Pricing
To get started, head to Settings from the sidebar.
In the Basic Settings section, click on Product Pricing.
Tabs and Features
Tabs
Pricing Rules
Inside, you’ll see two main tabs. The first is your Pricing Rules, which we'll cover in a minute,
My Competitors
And right next to it is My Competitors. This is where you choose which competitor data sources you want included in your pricing logic. You can turn competitors on or off depending on who you want to compare against.
Price Tags Sync
At the top-right corner, you’ll also see Price Tags Sync — click this anytime you want to manually sync your backend prices with what’s shown on your website or your physical price tags.
Import Cost
In the middle, there’s Import Cost, which lets you bulk-upload product costs via CSV. Just make sure the model numbers already exist in your inventory — only registered models can have costs imported.
Changelog
Beside that is the Changelog, where you can track every price change — who updated it, when it happened, and what changed.
Filters
Working with a big list of products? No problem. Use the Brand Filter to narrow things down quickly, or type a Model Number into the search bar to jump straight to a product.
Missing a Brand?
If you don’t see a brand you’re expecting, the brand might not be active yet. To fix that: Go back to Settings and Open Product Catalog
Search for the brand you're looking for, thenSwitch the Active toggle to Yes
Reset Filters
And if your filters ever get messy, just hit Reset Filter to start fresh.
Editing Brand Prices
Once you’re ready to edit prices, click the pencil icon next to the brand you want to update.
Pricing Rules
Before you set your pricing rules, here’s a quick breakdown of the rule types you can choose from. Note: You can’t use the same rule for both Regular and Sale price — pick one for each.
MSRP
MSRP or the manufacturer’s suggested retail price — the standard recommended price. We usually suggest using MSRP for your Regular Price.
LAP
Next is LAP, or Lowest Available Price. The lowest advertised price found across your selected competitors. This automatically adjusts based on the competitors you activated. It also has fallback logic: Regular Price fallback: LAP to MSRP, Sale Price fallback: LAP to MAP to MSRP
UMRP
UMRP, or Unilateral Minimum Retail Price. Unlike MAP, this rule applies to the actual sale price too. If you go below it — even in-store — you could lose access to the brand. So be careful!
LRP
LRP or Lowest Retail Price, a brand-supplied minimum price — often more accurate or stable than MAP or scraped data. Just like LAP, LRP also have Sale Price fallback logic: LRP to MAP or PMAP to MSRP when used as Regular Price Rule
MAP/PMAP
MAP, Minimum Advertised Price. This is the lowest price you're allowed to advertise. You can sell lower in-store, but you can’t advertise it. while PMAP is a temporary lower MAP used during sales events like Black Friday — though in your system, you’ll just see it under MAP.
In the Product Details, you can see the tool tip showing the Promo Period of the product's PMAP.
You can also see the PMAP Promo Period In the Price Analytics.
Competitor Price
And the last one is Competitor Price. Set your price directly based on a specific competitor you’ve selected in the My Competitors tab. This option gives you precise control when matching or leading key competitors.
Regular Price Rule
Inside the Edit Price Rule pop-up, start by choosing your Regular Price Rule. Again, MSRP is the recommended choice for most brands.
You can also mark prices up or down using either dollar amounts or percentages.
Sale Price Rule
Next is the Sale Price Rule — this only applies when you’re running discounts. M.A.P is the recommended option here.
Compliance Toggles
To protect your brand relationships, you’ll see two compliance toggles: MAP and UMRP Compliance. You can only choose one at a time
MAP Compliance
When MAP Compliance is enabled, it keeps sale prices from dropping below MAP or PMAP. If any model breaks MAP, only that model is adjusted up — everything else follows your rule normally.
UMRP Compliance
When UMRP Compliance is enabled, it ensures sale prices never violate UMRP. No fallbacks, no overrides — the rule is strict and applies only to brands with UMRP data.
Include PMAPs
If you're using MAP or PMAP as your sale rule, you’ll also see the Include PMAPs toggle. Turn this on if you want promotional M.APs factored into your pricing logic.
Additional Pricing Rules
Below that, you can add Additional Pricing Rules — up to 5. These act as backup rules in case your primary rule returns zero or missing data. Only the first valid result is used.
See Price in Cart
You'll also see the See Price in Cart toggle. Turn this on to hide the final LCP price until customers add the item to their cart.
Here’s how it works: The sale price will show with a strikethrough, the final LCP price will only appear in the cart, and this triggers only when LCP is lower than both Regular and Sale prices
Minimum Margin Enforcement
And finally, one of the most important protections: Minimum Margin Enforcement. When enabled, the system makes sure you never sell below your required margin. It checks your product cost and ensures every item stays profitable — even if LAP, MAP, or competitor prices dip too low.
For example, If your cost is $800 and you set a 20% minimum margin, the lowest price you'll ever sell is $960. if a competitor is selling at $899 — tough luck. Your system will not follow them because it would cost you money. This safeguard protects your business and your bottom line, so we strongly recommend keeping it enabled.
When you're done, hit Save.
Editing Item Prices
Need to adjust the price of a specific model? Click on the brand name to open its full SKU list.
Manual Adjust
At the top, you’ll see two helpful toggles: Show Only Manually Priced Models — shows SKUs using custom prices, and Show Only SKUs Below Minimum Margin — highlights SKUs that violate margin rules (only applies if cost is available)
You can edit any product manually, and when you do, its pricing source will switch to Manual so you know it’s custom-set.
Price Reset
To revert an item to automated pricing, click Reset below the model. Click Reset Manually Priced Items at the top to clear all manual prices for the brand.
Want to reset everything? Check the box next to the brand name,
then click Reset Manually Priced Items to clear all manual pricing at once.
