The Terminal Settings feature in Appliance.io gives you full control over your payment terminals inside AIO Pay. From adding new terminals to updating existing ones, everything is designed to keep your checkout process smooth, secure, and efficient.

πŸ“ Accessing Terminal Settings

To get started, open the sidebar and click Settings.
Under Basic Settings, select Payments.

In the top-right corner of the AIO Pay section, click Terminal Settings β€” this is where you’ll manage all your payment terminals.

Inside Terminal Settings, you can:

  • Add new payment terminals

  • Edit existing terminals

  • Delete terminals

  • Search by name

  • Filter by location

  • Reset filters anytime for a clean view

When you're ready to add a new terminal, click Add New Terminal in the top-right.
But before setting one up, you’ll need to connect the terminal itself.

πŸ’‘ Note: You can't test the terminal unless you have already registered for AIO Pay.

πŸ”Œ Step 1: Connecting Your Terminal

After ordering your terminal from AIO, start by connecting it to Wi-Fi.

On your terminal:

  1. Select Board terminal

  2. Enter your store address or select your store location

  3. Wait for the terminal to activate and download updates

The onboarding process typically takes 15–30 minutes.

Once it’s complete, return to your POS β€” a pop-up will appear to finalize setup.

πŸ“ Step 2: Adding a New Payment Terminal

When the pop-up appears on your POS, fill out the following details:

  • Location

  • Terminal Name

  • Model

  • Serial Number (usually found on the back of the device)

Click Save, and your new terminal will appear in your Terminal list instantly.

You can always:

  • Edit a terminal using the pencil icon

  • Delete a terminal using the trash icon

This gives you full flexibility to manage your hardware as your business grows.

πŸŽ‰ You’re All Set!

Your payment terminal is now connected and active in AIO Pay!
Terminal Settings makes it simple to manage devices, keep your checkout running smoothly, and update your hardware anytime β€” all without technical hassles.
