The Terminal Settings feature in Appliance.io gives you full control over your payment terminals inside AIO Pay. From adding new terminals to updating existing ones, everything is designed to keep your checkout process smooth, secure, and efficient.
π Accessing Terminal Settings
To get started, open the sidebar and click Settings.
Under Basic Settings, select Payments.
In the top-right corner of the AIO Pay section, click Terminal Settings β this is where youβll manage all your payment terminals.
Inside Terminal Settings, you can:
Add new payment terminals
Edit existing terminals
Delete terminals
Search by name
Filter by location
Reset filters anytime for a clean view
When you're ready to add a new terminal, click Add New Terminal in the top-right.
But before setting one up, youβll need to connect the terminal itself.
π‘ Note: You can't test the terminal unless you have already registered for AIO Pay.
π Step 1: Connecting Your Terminal
After ordering your terminal from AIO, start by connecting it to Wi-Fi.
On your terminal:
Select Board terminal
Enter your store address or select your store location
Wait for the terminal to activate and download updates
The onboarding process typically takes 15β30 minutes.
Once itβs complete, return to your POS β a pop-up will appear to finalize setup.
π Step 2: Adding a New Payment Terminal
When the pop-up appears on your POS, fill out the following details:
Location
Terminal Name
Model
Serial Number (usually found on the back of the device)
Click Save, and your new terminal will appear in your Terminal list instantly.
You can always:
Edit a terminal using the pencil icon
Delete a terminal using the trash icon
This gives you full flexibility to manage your hardware as your business grows.
