Price Match Guarantee messaging is now hidden by default across Website Builder storefronts. This ensures that your online store only promotes policies that align with your current business practices.
Overview
To provide a cleaner browsing experience and help prevent customer confusion, Price Match Guarantee messaging is no longer displayed by default on Product Detail and Package Detail pages.
If your business does not offer price matching, your website will no longer show guarantee messaging that conflicts with your store policies.
Note: This update applies only to websites created through Website Builder. Custom websites are not affected.
What Changes on Your Storefront
1. Product Detail Pages
The Price Match Guarantee link and supporting text are no longer displayed on Product Detail pages.
All other core pricing elements remain active and unchanged, including:
Product selling prices
Instant savings callouts
Discount percentage badges
Available financing options
2. Package Detail Pages
The Price Match Guarantee link is also hidden on Package Detail pages across desktop and mobile layouts.
Package pricing, included item lists, savings, and financing details will continue to display normally.
What Is Not Included in This Phase
Please keep the following details in mind:
Individual toggle controls: Retailers cannot currently enable or disable this messaging directly through Site Settings.
Pricing calculations: This update does not change product prices, promotional discounts, or MAP rules.
Non-new inventory: Displays for open-box, refurbished, and scratch-and-dent inventory remain unchanged.
