Find Delivery and Install Automation from your advances settings.

Click 'Delivery & Install Automation'

1. Page Layout

Ok. We've got 3 tabs across the top of the page. General Settings, Delivery Methods and Install Rules.

Click 'Damage Waiver
                expand_more'

2. Damage Waiver

We're starting with General Settings. Let's look at the Damage Waiver first. Drop down the info by clicking anywhere along the bar.

Click 'Damage Waiver
                expand_more'

It's a good idea to add a damage waiver that is accessible to your drivers, and this is where you define it. We have it toggled on by default.

Click 'Delivery Rules
            expand_more'

Why do you need a damage waiver?

Maybe once your driver gets to the property, they realize the customer is asking them to take the appliance up a windy dangerous staircase, or across newly refinished hardwood floors, or just one of those unusual cases that could potentially cause damage to the appliance or your customers property.

If you customer is good with it, your delivery guy can go right to his driver app,

Drivers App View

This is his view while his stop is in progress,

He just clicks the 3 dots over to the right of his status bar,

chooses damage waiver from the drop down,

Notice the damage waiver verbiage displayed right at the top?

He selects the customer from the drop down,

hands his phone to the customer, so they can sign

clicks submit,

The driver is notified immediately that all is good, and he is free to do as the customer wishes.

Back to the Platform!

Give it a good title that explains its purpose.

Click 'Delivery Rules
            expand_more'

Now type out the specifics of your waiver. Don't hold back here, this protects you and gives your customer fair warning!

Click 'Delivery Rules
            expand_more'

3. Delivery Rules

Next, let's pop down Delivery Rules!

Notice these are toggled on by default, so read through them carefully to be sure you want to keep these settings enabled.

sdf

The first one locks the delivered status on all orders. This means no-one will be able to reopen it from the order page. This is a good way to prevent mishaps and confusion, the delivery status is fully controlled through the drivers app.

sdf

The second, autocompletes all of the delivery trucks at a set time, that you input in the box right below. This prevents drivers from leaving routes open. This is also a very good idea, as we see many times that a driver forgets to complete his last stop on the app and it creates issues in the morning when he wants to start the next days route and is prevented from doing due to our preventative feature of not allowing new routes to start before prior routes are closed.

sdf

The third one requires all models in a truck to be scanned out before you can start the route.

sdf

4. Drivers App View

This is what it looks like to your driver, from the drivers app. He goes to start the route,

But Oop. Nope. Not happening. He's about to potentially leave without all of his appliances!

Surely, you don't want any sad customers,

and certainly not angry ones! Right? yeah I'm with you! Toggle ON!

Can I talk to your boss?!

OK, last one, This is to alert drivers when attempting to accept a new route while already having one open. This one is not toggled on by default, your choice!

Just like all the others, name it how you like it,

Again, be descriptive! Notice this client is very clear in what they will or will not do. Think about particular customers with detailed requests, stairs, long driveways or how your trucks handle tight turns. All good things to include.

7. Haul-Away Charges

How much do you want to automatically charge for haulaways, per item? And do you want to charge less or even nothing if they are doing an install? Good questions.
