Creating Quotes on the Website

A simple, guided shopping experience — from browsing to order confirmation

The Checkout process on the Appliance.io website makes online shopping smooth and intuitive. From finding your perfect appliance to completing your payment, every step is designed to be fast, flexible, and user-friendly. Customers can easily shop, schedule delivery, and pay — all in one seamless flow.


📍 Accessing the Website

To start, head to the Appliance.io website. You can browse the catalog or use the Search bar to find a specific product.

For this walkthrough, let’s pick one of the Best Sellers. Once you’ve found your favorite item, click Add to Cart.

You’ll be directed to the My Shopping Cart page, where you can:

  • Review your selected products

  • Add an optional Protection Plan

  • Choose your preferred Delivery Option

  • Apply a Coupon (if you have one)

When everything looks good, click Checkout to move on.


🧾 Step 1: Contact

The checkout process includes three main steps: Contact, Scheduling, and Payment.

In the Contact step:

  • If you already have an account, log in to save your progress and access your order history later.

  • Not logged in? No problem — you can continue as a guest!

Simply fill in your Email, First and Last Name, and Street Address. If needed, you can also include your apartment, suite, or floor number.

Once done, click Continue to Scheduling to move forward.


📅 Step 2: Scheduling

Next, choose your delivery date.

You’ll also need to:

  • Enter your Mobile Number

  • Add a Note for your delivery drivers or installers (for example, gate access or special instructions)

After everything’s set, click Continue to Payment.


💳 Step 3: Payment

Now it’s time to complete your order!

In this step, select your preferred Payment Method:

  • Apple Pay

  • Credit Card

  • Affirm

  • Klarna

When you’re ready, click Place Your Order to submit payment and complete your purchase.


After You Place Your Order

Once your payment is confirmed, you’ll see a confirmation page with your order number.

On the backend (POS side), your order will also appear as a quote.
Here’s how it works:

  • For the first 10 minutes after the customer clicks Continue to Scheduling, the quote is locked, so the salesperson can’t make changes.

  • This gives customers complete control to finish their checkout experience online.

  • After 10 minutes, the salesperson can edit the quote directly from the POS and proceed to finalize payment.
