The Delivery Schedule Settings page in Appliance.io allows you to manage delivery methods, set daily capacities, configure regional delivery zones, set pricing, enable auto-scheduling, and more. It’s designed to help your logistics run smoothly by giving you full control over when and how deliveries are made.

📍 Accessing Delivery Schedule Settings

To begin, open the sidebar and click Settings.
Under the Basic Settings section, select Delivery Schedule.

You’ll see several sections on this page, each one controlling a key area of your delivery workflow:

Let’s break down each one.

🚚 Delivery Method

At the top of the page, you’ll find the Delivery Method dropdown. This shows all existing delivery methods in your system.
To create a new method, click Create New Delivery Method — and if you need help, we have a separate article with a full walkthrough.

Cut-Off Time

The Cut-Off Time section lets you control which schedule applies based on when an order is placed.

Switch the toggle to Yes to enable the feature.

Then choose your Schedule Type:

  • Same Day – Orders placed before your cut-off qualify for same-day delivery.

  • Next Day – Orders placed before the cut-off will be scheduled the following day.

  • Custom Lead Time – Add a specific number of days before scheduling becomes available.

Finally, set your Cut-Off Time.
Orders placed after this time will automatically follow the next eligible delivery schedule.

🔤 Abbreviation

Use the Abbreviation field as an internal shorthand name for the delivery method.
You can enter up to 4 characters, making it quick and easy to identify throughout the system.

📅 Schedule Rules

This section defines your weekly delivery and home-visit availability.

For each day of the week, you can:

  • Toggle Active/Inactive

  • Set a Delivery Limit

  • Set a Home Visit Limit

If a day is inactive, all fields become disabled, and users (except Superadmins) won’t be able to schedule deliveries for that day.

⌛ How Delivery Limits Work

Delivery limits count orders with different delivery addresses.

Example:
If your June 7th delivery limit is five and you already have four orders scheduled:

  • Scheduling an order to a new address will hit the limit.

  • Scheduling an order to the same address as an existing one will still be allowed.

This helps optimize routing and truck capacity.

🌴 Holidays

The Holiday section allows you to manually set special rules for specific dates — such as national holidays or days with reduced staffing.

Click Add Holiday to create one.
For full details on configuring holidays, see our dedicated article.

📍 Delivery Zones

Delivery Zones help you organize delivery areas based on ZIP codes. Each zone can have its own delivery schedule — either weekly or manually configured.

Click Add New Delivery Zone to create one.
You can view, edit, or delete zones using the Action column.

For a deeper guide, see our Delivery Zones article.

🤖 Auto Schedule

Auto Scheduling helps streamline communication with customers once their items arrive in stock.

You’ll see two toggles:

  • Auto-Scheduler Default – Automatically enables auto-scheduling for all orders.

  • Lock Auto-Scheduler Default – Prevents the default setting from being changed at the quote or order level.

Next, choose your Notification Timing:

  • Send when any items arrive in stock – Customers can schedule items one by one.

  • Send when all items have arrived – Ensures one complete delivery, reducing trips and costs.

💲 Pricing Zones

Pricing Zones allow you to group ZIP codes and apply region-based delivery fees.

You can:

  • Add a new pricing zone

  • Edit existing ones

  • Delete zones from the Action column

Pricing Zones help ensure accurate and consistent delivery charges during checkout and invoicing.

🚚 Delivery Options

The Delivery Options section lets you manage the delivery services your customers can choose from.

Each option includes:

  • Name

  • Description

  • Pricing

You’ll also see two tabs:

  • Active – Your current live delivery options

  • Archive – Options you’ve previously archived

Use the Action column to edit or archive any option.
