Now select Add Delivery Option to the top right of that section, and a pop-up box will show!

Name your delivery option.

Give it a good and detailed description. This information will be displayed for both your customers on the website and your salespeople in house. Make sure everyone knows what exactly is included and what is not. Do you charge for a flight of stairs for example? And how many stairs equals a flight?

Don't forget to give your delivery option a price!

3. Create A New Delivery Method

After you have entered all of your delivery options, pop up to the top right and select Create New Delivery Method!

Click 'Create New Delivery Method'

When the pop-up opens, first give your Delivery Method A Name.

And start time.

Choose an Abbreviation for this Delivery Method. It will be displayed on various icons throughout the platform.

If you click this guy on, online orders will still be able to schedule even if the routing schedule is full that day.

If you toggle over that Cut Off Time, you will see you have options. Same day will allow customers to schedule delivery the same day and next day will allow customers to schedule the next day. You can also choose a specific cut off time, For example, if you want deliveries for Tuesday to be able to schedule them only up until Tuesday at 2pm, you would select same day and enter in 2pm here.

Select your maximum pieces per stop, this is the maximum pieces that can be on any one stop for this delivery method.

Choose the Priority Level. This determines the sequence in which your salespeople will view the available delivery options when scheduling.

Lastly, choose which delivery options this delivery method will be able to perform. Remember, we just set these up with the last option on the previous screen?

Alright! Doing Good! Let's Keep this party rollin!

Alright!

4. Schedule Rules

Let's drop down the Schedule Rules and take a look, notice if you click anywhere on that bar, it will expand for you!

Alright let's check it out, the active days you toggle on are the days those trucks are running.

Delivery Limits are the max stops those trucks can make on those days.

Does this delivery company offer home visits? Like surveying a space to check measurements before a big delivery? Or coming out for adjustments after a delivery has been done?

Do you want to limit the amount of Home Visits they do on any particular day?

Ok! Schedule rules, done! Close that box with the little arrow at the top right!

5. Holidays

Pop down Holidays, and click Add Holidays at the top right.

Holidays are exclusions to the delivery schedule rules. They are not reoccurring and will need to be configured for each date. Also if your delivery company has their own AIO Account, they arrange the holiday settings and they cannot be altered from your account. Pick a date you want to create a holiday for!

Overall capacity means it will be shared across the selected delivery types.

Individual capacity allows each delivery type to have its own capacity, which won't be shared with the others.

select the delivery type this holiday rule is going to apply too.

The capacity indicates how many pieces can be delivered that day by your chosen delivery type.

Entering detailed information here will be useful for anyone referencing your holiday rules.

Click 'Add New Delivery Zone'

First, name your zone.

Click 'Manual'

and add all the zip codes you want to include in that zone. How will I get all the zones I want to deliver too, you might ask?

7. Where to get your zip codes

Head over to Unitedsstateszipcodes.org my friend! Plug in your radius, store zip code and copy all the zip codes that populate off in the right side panel.

And pop em right in the zip code field on your pop up box! You will need to add comas, fyi.

Now just choose how often you want to have your delivery trucks out in the selected zones and how often you wish for them to repeat! For example, if you want to service a far-away area, maybe you go once a month.

Let me show ya, open her up.

Click 'Add New Pricing Zone'

Ok, Pricing zones are separated by delivery zones so that you can offer different delivery pricing based on the additional distance your trucks might be traveling. These amounts are displayed on orders, in the total area, as "additional delivery zone fees". As you can see, Norm lives pretty far out there, and is happy to pay for it because he knows he lives in the woods!

Alright, you're smart and I think you got it from here. Enter in the details and think about the logistics of what these out-of-the-way customers will cost you in the long run before entering those surcharges!
