Delay the request

If you're customer doesn't need it right away, it's a good idea to convey this to your inventory manager to avoid loading up your warehouse with inventory that will sit for possibly months. So just choose Select Date and pick the date on the calendar that your customer needs to pick it up.

Check Stock

Once you have requested an item, and it has not yet been ordered

Check Stock

You will notice a number below the check stock icon. The number indicates the quantity of items has been requested to be ordered.

Notice that while it has an ETA, there is no warehouse arrival date. This feature is used when your inventory manager has solid confirmation that the item is moving and truly expected, for example, they get notice that the whirpool shipment has left and the truck is in route with an updated ETA, then it would reflect that date here!

OK!!!!!! BACK TO BUSINESS!!

Fulfilment Icons - Left Side!

Alrighty! See these little icons at the beginning of the line item rows? These specify the type of fulfilment that was selected for each item.

Super Simple! the truck is local delivery only,

The truck and wrench, you guessed it - local delivery and install.

The dolly... yep, thats pickup at the store!

And everyones favorite, the customer is unsure! Now let's see all of the options inside each of these, from an order..

Local delivery only...

Under this category, you have all of the options your company offers. These you see listed here are standard: Full Service, Inside Delivery and Drop-off. Each have their own descriptions and costs specified so you are never unsure of what you are offering your customer as you designated their delivery.

Local Delivery and Install..

These options will be specified to the actual item and what additional services might be offered for them -- See here-- it's a fridge -- so you might have install options such as adding a water line or door reversal, each with price delineations. On a dishwasher you might have a long hose option or maybe you have a certified natural gas installer, but it will come with an added cost!

Haul Away

this is your haul away option, depending on how your company wishes to charge for this service, your display here might vary -- for this example - you choose the number of items to be removed from the property,

and enter a per piece price

and your total haul away charge is posted here!

OK!! pickup!

nothing to cryptic here -- this is simply stating that your customer will be coming in to pick up the item themselves - typically there's no cost here - you just specify what location they will be picking up from

Lastly - your Customers Not sure

So - this option is only ever chosen when at the time of placing the order, the customer just didn't know how they wanted to handle fulfilment. If this option is not updated before the item gets to the warehouse, the salesperson will be notified upon arrival so they can reach back out to their customer and update the fulfilment on the order.

Changing Fulfillment

To do that - you just hop to the order and you can clearly see that the item is reserved - however the icon is not highlighted - indicating their is an issue -

just drop down the item detail with the arrow here -

and click the edit pencil next to change fulfilment type

and your back at this familiar screen !! - so - just select the updated fulfilment type!

Alright !! Time to go to your happy place and process all that juicy info !! Let me know if you have any questions !!

Did this answer your question?
