This is a guide to adding inventory on an individual basis in Appliance.io.

This button is used to add individual models to inventory. This process is not suited to adding more than one model number at a time. To do this in bulk you should use the “Receive Inventory” button. Click here to learn more about that page (link Here)

Location - this will be filled with the warehouse location by default. It can be changed to any location

Model - This will be filled with the model number.

Condition - This will be filled with the actual condition of the item being added.

Add stock - This will be filled with the desired qty. Note: If the items are of different conditions they must be added separately.

Cost - This will be filled with the actual cost of the item.

Type - This will be filled with the status of the inventory. The most common choices are “On Order” and “Available” stock.

If the Condition is changed to anything other than “New” the menu will change to show different fields.

Price - This will be filled with the desired selling price of the unit. Note: This price will only be a recommendation.

Serial Number - The serial number can be added to better identify the item later.

Add stock - This field will now be locked to one.

Description - This can be used to describe the item and the specific characteristics of the damage to the item.

Photo Upload - Photos of the item can be uploaded here. Limit of 5.

Then select the “Add” button.

You have now added a piece of inventory.
